Beyoncé Mrs Carter tour passes $100 million in ticket sales

According to reports, Beyoncé has already grossed over $104 million from 59 performances since the start of her worldwide tour “Ms Carter,” and it looks like she will keep on going strong as she continues onto its finale in December this year.

Reportedly over 883,000 tickets have been sold to watch the performance of the Grammy award-winning singer who is now 32-years-old and she has earned the number one place on the Hot Tours ranking list.

Since starting her tour in Serbia this April, the megastar is now approaching the earnings of other megastars such as Madonna who made $305 million from her tour in 2012 and Lady Gaga who grossed more than $181 million in one of her tours.

By the end of August, Beyoncé had completed 23 performances throughout Europe and 24 in North America and then she went on to Latin America and Australia to complete another leg of her tour. She is also listed as one of the world’s top earning musicians in the Forbes Top Ten list.

Beyoncé’s husband, Hip Hop star Jay Z also made it to number six position on the Hot Tours list. Reportedly his gross income from two tours of his “Magna Carta” world tour in London and Zurich was about $6.8 million

Sponsors of her tour, Pepsi, reportedly paid Beyoncé to advertise their product during her performances $50 million although she can also endorse her own projects as part of the deal.

Pepsi was also the sponsor of this year’s Super Bowl and Beyoncé made an appearance and performed for the fans at half time.

According to the megastar, Pepsi doesn’t intrude too much on performing artists and allows them to pretty much do their own thing.

She added that this arrangement is fine with her because she can perform how she wants and still be sponsored by a major brand.

Reportedly, during her show at London’s 02 Arena in May, Beyoncé performed for six nights in front of more than 97,000 fans and earned over $9.5 million. She then went on to Manchester Arena and earned another $4.6 million for three nights work.
