Many from urban communities initially believed that Black people were immune to the coronavirus. This was obviously false information, partly due to the media’s bias in their reporting. Not only can Black people contract the COVID-19 virus, but many are also dying from it. Many have died already, but here are just five confirmed cases:

     If you don’t pay your light bill your lights will go off, yet when a bad storm comes and knocks out your lights, you have no control; but either way you’re in the darkness. On one hand you caused the darkness; on the other, you could not stop the darkness.

     Because of the coronavirus (Covid-19), my sister and I, and kids around the world are learning at home. It feels weird not being able to socialize in person with my friends and having to spend our school day mostly on the computer.

        Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease. The disease causes respiratory illness with symptoms such as a cough, fever and difficulty breathing.

This is me, eighth grader, Samara Rawls working from home due to the closure of my school to protect students and staff from getting the coronavirus.

       These pictures reflect how covid-19 is affecting our spring break because people love to go on the beach in spring. They  represent  how the majority of the shelves in stores are not fully stocked because people who were aware of the situation took a lot of the products as well as long lines at drive-thrus, shoppers in mask and restaurant workers with gloves on.

      There are 1,007 cases of Coronavirus infection in the State of Florida, as of 6 p.m., March 22, 2020. There are 13 deaths due to Coronavirus infection in Florida.
