In the wake of the police killing of George Floyd, the hip-hop community has rallied behind proposed new legislation to reform American policing.

Black people are in the throes of two pandemics: the coronavirus and racism. But the disturbing trend of white women trying to police people during the aforementioned public health crises was threatening to become the third pandemic disproportionately affecting Black folks.
The President has said or done things which resulted in members of his cabinet labeling him as idiot or moron. The LDOCR, Dictionary defines an “idiot,” as a person who says or does stupid things. Using this definition, one could probably construct the following equation for an Idiot: Idiot= (person says + does stupid things)2.
AS A TEACHER, MY GRADE FOR NFL COMMISSIONER ROGER GOODELL IS AN F. Goodell said, “we were wrong for not listening to Black players complaints of racism”. In his so-called apology he never said the name Colin Kaepernick. Colin was the brave football player who took a knee during the playing of the national anthem.
“As current events dramatically underscore, there remains much more to do as a country and as a league. These tragedies inform the NFL’s commitment and our ongoing efforts. There remains an urgent need for action. We recognize the power of our platform in communities and as part of the fabric of American society,” the NFL statement also read.
“An alliance of Civil Rights, social justice, and business leaders across the Tri-county region came together in response to COVID-19’s disproportionate impact to the Black community. This collective body, the South Florida Black Prosperity Alliance, is gravely concerned about the continued disparities that plague our community and have committed to make demands of our state and Federal elected officials to collaborate with us in addressing these disparities,” says Eric Knowles, President of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce.

Every governmental department is a “police department”. Every governmental department, every government agency and every governmental commission, every governmental task force and every governmental study group looks at and treats Black citizens and Black taxpayers differently!
Blacks in the U.S. have been disproportionately affected during the pandemic. Although African Americans only compose 6 percent of the population in the state of California, Blacks comprise 10.6 percent of the COVID-19 deaths. This has been attributed to the fact that a number of Blacks have underlying and sometimes untreated conditions — cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc. — which compound problems, when paired with the coronavirus.
Bonnie Pointer, one of the founding members of the group The Pointer Sisters, died Monday, according to her sister, Anita Pointer She was 69.
