     Manrico Barry Isaac Currington passed away on January 13, 2020 in Apopka, Fla. where his only remaining sibling Joyce Currington Boone now resides. He was born to Johnnie and Ethel Brooks Currington in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Nov. 29, 1940. Barry, as he preferred to be called, began playing the piano at the age of three. By the age of six, he was conducting the church choir where he attended and later the Choir’s Union of Fort Lauderdale.

      A Chicago native who broke racial barriers in space exploration will receive a major posthumous honor. According to Peoria Public Radio, NASA named a spacecraft after Maj. Robert H. Lawrence Jr., the first Black person selected to be an astronaut.

      The Washington Redskins could be in the midst of making a game changing move with talks that their next hire will be the first Black woman assistant coach in the NFL. Jennifer King, the former coach of the Johnson & Wales University women’s basketball team in Charlotte, could be joining Redskins’ head coach Ron Rivera’s staff after working under him as a coaching intern, The Atlantic reports.

Whenever we come to Satan in biblical study, it pretty much occupies a lot of my attention. I’m always encouraged to know that God’s plan is pretty precise and fairly obvious to those who are looking for His Word.

     Politics has always been about whom is the most articulate, and factual, but the impeachment appeared to be more about talking, and the facts were not important. America heard from 17 witnesses in the House impeachment inquiry, and Democrats in the House are proud of their accomplishment. The House managers had 24 hours to make their case, even though everyone understood what was going to be the outcome in the Senate.
