HBCU Field of Dreams is an initiative started by NFL Hall of Famer Willie âHoney Bearâ Lanier, to raise $50 million over the next 3 years to install state-of-the-art playing surfaces at nearly 3 dozen HBCU football stadiums. Through the efforts of the Honey Bear Project, Lanier hopes to level the playing field for students attending HBCUs.
