  On Friday, the daughters, Elizabeth “Dee”,  Pamela, Sonia and Carma Lynn; son Steve; daughter-in-law Keisha ; friend George Cone and son-in-law, I (Nunnie), boarded a plane to Wilmington, North Carolina, fully intending to surprise their 91-year-old father, patriarch  and Westside Gazette Newspaper founder, Rev. CareerSource Broward (CSBD), providing innovative employment solutions and quality workforce services to businesses and individuals in Broward County, has launched its 2023 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). More than 1,000 students, a record high for CSBD, participated in the SYEP three-day employability skills workshop that took place at Dillard High School, Pompano Beach High School and Hallandale Beach High School.
