    44th Annual Sistrunk Historical Parade  and Festival

    The 44th Annual Sistrunk Historical Parade and Festival will be taking place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The parade will be filled with a variety of entertainers, that include many ethnic groups marching, high school ROTC cadets, steppers stepping, drill teams twirling, and decorated floats ridden by local business owners, politicians, and more. The parade exhibits that of Broward’s beautiful multicultural heritage, rich cuisine, strong traditions and features fun and excitement for the entire family! To start, the 5k Run will begin at 7 a.m. beginning at Delevoe Park. Next, Parade participants will begin lining-up at 8:30 a.m. at Lincoln Park. The parade will travel eastbound on the corridor of Sistrunk ending at 10th Avenue. Immediately following the Parade, the Sistrunk Corridor will open to a variety of music, food, merchants, and community vendors. National and local artists will perform throughout the event allowing patrons the opportunity to support our local businesses.
