The Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrated, with class and style, its first Big Hats and Bow Ties Jazz Luncheon. Guests were entertained with live jazz music, performed by the Press Play Band led by Kyle Woodard.

True Delta style was showcased in an elegant and sassy Greek Allure fashion show, featuring members of the sorority and their guests. Proceeds from this sold out, jazzy event will benefit the scholarship fund and other public service programs of the sorority.

The Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has a long, successful history of providing public service programs to the residents of Broward County. Incorporated in 1955, the chapter, through its Delta Education and Life Development Foundation, Inc., has provided college and vocational scholarship awards, programs recognizing high school students who have excelled academically, tutorial programs, early child-hood reading programs, seminars on economic development, as well as programs in adolescent health and development.

Save the date for one of the upcoming events: The 3rd Annual White Hot Soiree, May 25, 2013. For more information about these events, contact info@bcacdst.org or P. O. Box 9504, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33310-9504 — (954) 522-2840 (Voicemail).
