On Saturday, June 17, 2023, the Broward County Chapter of the Florida A&M National Alumni Association will host their inaugural golf tournament at the Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to fund scholarships for local students attending FAMU. During its 60-year existence, the Broward Alumni Chapter has awarded over $750,000 in total scholarships.
Registration for the tournament begins at 7:00 am with an 8:30 shotgun start. The tournament will be played in a scramble format. Awards will be given to the foursome with the lowest score, the college alumni foursome with the lowest score, and the organization foursome with the lowest score.
Non golfers may attend the post tournament luncheon and participate in the raffle and silent auction. All supporters of FAMU, please come out and support this worthwhile endeavor.
