FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is excited to host a fall fundraiser entitled “Kickin’ it for a Cause ~ Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop” on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 7 p.m., at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida. The fun-filled event will be celebrating 50 Years of Hip-Hop. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Jack and Jill Foundation as well as local 501(c)(3) organizations.
Our chapter was established in 1964 and since its inception has been an active part of the Broward County with a focus on service. We “Soar to New Heights” by working to accomplish our mission through diverse programs focused on strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropy, and civic duty.
The philanthropic arm of our organization, Jack and Jill of America Foundation, has contributed more than $500,000 resulting in meaningful change for African American children dealing with societal and disparity challenges. This year, the Sneaker Ball will be attended by more than 100 influential leaders representing diverse industries across Broward County, most of whom are members and alumni of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
