On September 14, 2023, Khamya Reddick, who has been missing since February 2023, turned 16-years-old. This day was filled with bittersweet emotions for Khamya’s family as they celebrated this significant milestone without her by their side.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) recently spoke with Khamya’s mom, Cednithra Wilkerson, who shared that the family came together to share a cake in honor of Khamya and they continue to hold onto hope that she will soon be reunited with them.

It has been eight long months since Khamya disappeared, and not a day has gone by where her family has stopped their search for her. Wilkerson said that every day she looks out the window, hoping to see Khamya sitting outside on the porch. She hopes this message will reach her daughter:

“Khamya baby please come home I miss you dearly and your mother loves you. A piece of me is missing until you come home, I can’t breathe until you do.”

Khamya was last seen at her home in Opa-locka, Florida on February 14, 2023. She was only 15 years old at the time and is described as 5’4” and weighed 110lbs when she was last seen. Khamya has brown eyes with Black hair. She is believed to be in the Miami, Florida surrounding areas.

If you have any information about Khamya or her disappearance, please contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Miami Gardens Police Department at 1-305-474-6473.
