    Champion Charity Inc. Hosts Inaugural HBCU Football Showcase for Student Athletes

    LAUDERHILL, FLΒ  – April 1, 2024 – Champion Charity Inc., a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to empowering youth through academic financial support, athletic advancement, and personal development, is pleased to announce its inaugural HBCU Football Showcase. The event will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., inside the Lauderhill Sports Park, located at 7500 West Oakland Park Boulevard in the city of Lauderhill, Florida.

    The HBCU Football Showcase aims to provide student-athletes with a platform to display their athletic talents before Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) coaches. Thanks to the generous support from All Health Matters Foundation, this FREE event will showcase nearly 100 student athletes from the South Florida community.

    β€œWe are thrilled to host our inaugural HBCU Football Showcase, bringing together student-athletes and HBCU coaches in a dynamic and supportive environment,” said William McCormick, Founder and President of Champion Charity Inc. β€œThis event not only provides an opportunity for student-athletes to showcase their talents but also offers them the chance to connect with coaches from prestigious HBCUs and explore potential opportunities for athletic advancement and academic success.”
    The HBCU Football Showcase will feature various athletic drills, skills assessments, and scrimmages designed to highlight the talents and abilities of participating student-athletes. Coaches from HBCUs will be in attendance to observe and evaluate the performances of student-athletes and engage in discussions about potential recruitment opportunities.
