The Bethune University Wildcats women’s volleyball team had an extended stay on the road due to Hurricane Milton.
The Wildcats have been in Tallahassee since Oct. 9. They dropped a 3-0 decision to rival Florida A&M on Oct. 10.
They followed that up by winning two home games that were played on FAMU’s campus.
Bethune-Cookman (8-11, 5-2) downed Southern 3-1 on Monday, Oct. 14 and Alcorn State 3-0 on Sunday, Oct. 13.
Mecca Freeman had 10 kills, Aisha Callendar 21 assists, Elizabeth Phillips 12 digs, Rylee Davis 11 digs and Niara Hightower and Kytal Price both had three blocks apiece for B-CU against Southern.
Against Alcorn State, Jasmine Robinson had 14 kills, Elizabeth Phillips 13 digs, Nola Hemphill 14 assists and Niara Hightower 11 assists for the Wildcats.
B-CU travels to Texas Southern on Friday, Oct. 18 and Prairie View on Sunday, Oct. 20.
