PEMBROKE PINES, FL — Memorial Hospital Pembroke celebrated its 30th anniversary with a summertime barbecue that included recognition of nine employees that have been with the facility since Memorial Healthcare System began operating the former Pembroke Pines General Hospital in 1995.

Odel Grant, Indra Jagen-Jones, Patricia Lyn, Laurel Maas, Patrice Maycock, Louise McLune, Ana Marie Navarrete, Fanny Polo, and Sheela Varghese received gift bags honoring their three decades at the hospital. Maas, a clinical manager in the Intensive Care Unit, has worked at the facility since 1975, representing 50 of the 56 years she has been a nurse.

“These employees have embraced the vision, mission, and values of our healthcare system,” said Felicia Turnley, CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke. “They continue to be actively involved and committed to who we are as an organization and how we serve patients, families, and the local community.”
