Pompano Beach has a new Postmaster, Nicole Lovett, who will be sworn into office on Wednesday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
The installation ceremony is open to the public. No RSVP required. Refreshments will be served.
As Pompano Beach Postmaster, Nicole Lovett oversees delivery operations at the Pompano Beach Processing and Delivery Center (3150 NW 33 Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33069) and eight retail units serving 453,000 residential and business addresses in Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Lighthouse Point, Margate, North Lauderdale, and Pompano Beach. The Pompano Beach team is made up of 619 dedicated employees who provide outstanding mail and package service throughout the area.
Postal operations include a total of 319 city and rural routes. In Fiscal Year 2025 (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025), the team delivered an estimated 100 million pieces in this area. Through retail and business mailing services, the operation generated an estimated $70 million in annual revenue while maintaining our commitment to service, safety, and operational excellence.
Nicole began her postal career in 1994. She left USPS to work in private industry where she developed extensive financial experience as a manager. Nicole returned to USPS in 2016 as a city carrier assistant delivering mail and packages and quickly was promoted into several managerial positions of increased responsibility, leading to her recent promotion as Pompano Beach Postmaster.
Nicole earned a master’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix. She has been the recipient of numerous postal awards for leading her team to outstanding service and safety performance.
