Last month, the Obama Foundation included Mr. Jackson’s story on the foundation’s webpage under Chicago Where it Began 2008 Campaign: Yes We Can. The foundation tweeted the story and posted it to their Instagram account in celebration of Black History Month. In December, Jackson will celebrate 100 years of life.
