Was recognized as a Human Resources Leader by the International Career and Business Alliance, Inc. (ICABA) on December 11th.
Andrea began her career seventeen years ago at VITAS Healthcare. At that time she was an assistant to the Human Resources manager.
A few years later, when there was an opportunity for advancement Andrea became the supervisor of the department.
Andrea was recognized as a “VITAS Best” in 2017 and has been honored three times as Employee of the Month.
She facilitates the cares and concerns of the more than 1300 employees in the Broward County offices of VITAS Healthcare as well as new applicants.
She now supervises seven human resources employees in two offices.
As she attends her daily responsibilities she reminds herself to, “Count your blessings, not your birthdays.”
Andrea is a member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association of Human Resource professionals.
