       This past weekend, I was given the opportunity to go to a Formula 1 (F1) racing event. F1 racing is where competitors all over the world come together, and compete to determine who has the fastest car. I was able to go to the Hard Rock Stadium with my family, and watch the racing from a large screen. The F1 racing organization is planning on building a new track in Miami Gardens around the Hard Rock Stadium which will be called, ‘Miami Grand Prix’. Although some people agree with this idea, others oppose it. Below I have written a few of the pros and cons of adding the new racing track in Miami.

     “If you’re considering bankruptcy as a solution for medical debt, you’re not alone. Unmanageable medical care debt and the hardships that often come along with it – like loss of work or reduced access to credit – can be a recipe for financial ruin,” Sarah C. Brady, a San Francisco-based financial consultant, wrote for Credit Karma. Brady warned that filing for bankruptcy isn’t always an ideal solution.

BUILDING A CULTURE OF ACCOUNTABILITY

     The image features a fierce dark-skinned woman holding up strident picket signs. The petition’s author felt this image paints a target on Black women, virtually throwing them under the bus to sell the product. Yet another shot at Black women!

     According to the Pfizer Fact Sheet for Vaccination Providers, the vaccination provider must communicate to the individual receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine or their caregiver, information consistent with the “Fact Sheet for Recipients and Caregivers” prior to the individual receiving Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.

CULTIVATING OUR POWER

     Aside from his career as a writer, penning content for Sanford and Son, In Living Color and Chapelle’s Show, Mooney was a high-profile writer for Richard Pryor.  By several accounts, Pryor is considered the greatest Black comedian of all times.  Mooney would also collaborate with Redd Foxx and Eddie Murphy.

The Road from Money by Sylvester Boyd, Jr. explores the life and times of his aunt, Estella Clemens, whose journey begins in the cotton fields of the south but later becomes a millionaire in the north.

     Florida A&M University (FAMU) senior Mulbe Dillard IV wrapped up his collegiate career by finishing tops in the final Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Collegiate Ranking.
