     He has plenty of divisions to stoke, a good number of fires he can light.  There is always people of color against white people, Republicans against Democrats, men versus women, the uneducated despising the educated; he pushes red states against blue states.  The older against the younger; the inner city versus the suburbs. That’s a lot of kindling that can be lit. Trump is focused on enlarging this list.

      Unfortunately, only in America has it become necessary to create special legislation at the local and federal levels to protect Black males/females from police brutality. One would think that in a civil society, legislation, such as the Endangered Species Act, would only be needed to protect defenseless animals from habitat destruction and predatory humans. However, murders, beatings, and assaults of Blacks recorded live and broadcast throughout the world, suggest otherwise.

       Dora Daniels James passed August 24 in Miami, Florida. Born an only child in Dallas County Alabama, she grew up in Pensacola, FL. She married Henry Leon Daniels and raised daughters Veronica, Dianne and Joyce. Dora, who graduated from Alabama State University, majored in Elementary Education and taught in Broward County for over 32 years. She also founded and directed “Young Years” daycare center, until retiring.
