Central County Community Development Corporation (CCCDC), a subsidiary of the Urban League of Broward County, announced a $250,000 Equity-Equivalent (EQ2) investment from Synovus Bank to fund its Small Business Loan Fund. The fund was established in 2015 to improve access to capital for low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners in low-wealth communities across Florida.

We’ve seen a few of these films at the Westside Gazette, and we know it’s early, but it’s Black History Month, so we would like to give our views.

      Civil rights leader Bayard Rustin’s relentless fight for social justice will forever be embedded in the fabric of American history. According to Variety, a new film about his life and legacy is coming to Netflix.

The City of Miramar today announced that the marketplace mural at Bravo Supermarket in the historic section of Miramar will be ready for unveiling on Saturday, February 20, 2021. The mural will adorn the fascia of the building facing Miramar Parkway.
