   Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) announced it has achieved more than $16 billion in overall fuel savings for customers from its highly efficient and diverse power generation fleet, which includes natural gas, nuclear power and solar and battery storage. In 2024 alone, the company saved customers $867 million in fuel costs. Since 2001, the company has leveraged the latest technology to help drive down costs and improve efficiency for customers and today operates one of the country’s most efficient and reliable generation fleets.
