     Both Venus Williams and her sister Serena were offered wild cards to play the BNP this year, however, only Venus has committed to play at this time. Now 43, Venus Williams returns to the desert tournament for the first time since 2019. Venus has 49 WTA titles, including four Olympic gold medals, on her substantial tennis resume.

     For its victims, war is . . . yes, hell. For the rest of us — the onlooking and supportive patriots — war is an abstraction embedded in ignorance, a.k.a., public relations, served up for public consumption.

     Uncertain opinions would lead to disagreement and eventually schisms, like the bitter and enduring break between the Shiite and Sunni sects of Islam and the Puritan, Calvinist, and other separatist groups within Christianity. Today there are more than 45,000 Christian sects worldwide and 200 in the US alone.

     Not too surprisingly, the criminal outlaw nations who have nukes don’t like it. As has long been said in the USA, “when guns are made illegal, only criminals will have guns.” Surprise, surprise, surprise, this logic also applies to nuclear weapons!

     Come on, Bob. Be positive and productive! Work on your book — you know, the book that will explain the nature of peace to Joe Biden and those other war-addicted pols out there. This book (and I quote its beginning):
