     I haven’t set foot in a synagogue for decades and have always been critical of Israeli politics. But up till now, I still retained a strong Jewish identity and felt a bond with other Jews because of what I perceived we shared: a commitment to a key tenet of Judaism — that one’s role in life is to make the world a better place. Not that all Jews were social workers or social justice warriors, but I was proud that so many of us were willing to speak up and act against all oppression, not just our own.

This event will unite all sectors of the business community seeking to learn about vital labor trends, services, and new business technologies such as A.I. that are impacting the Broward economy. This three-part professional growth opportunity includes a networking Business Breakfast, an Employer Marketplace, and a Job Fair that will bring a ready-to-work, motivated workforce to community employers.

     The discussion was not the usual tense mudslinging the Street Detective has become accustomed to. It was cordial and each Board member was committed to listening to their constituents.
