It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of Coach Willie Simmons from his position as Florida A&M University Head Football Coach. Coach Simmons has been an integral part of our athletics program, and I am both proud and sad to see him go.
With the departure of Willie Simmons for Duke University, Florida A&M has embarked on a search for the new head coach of the national champion football team. It shouldn’t look far, he’s right under their noses. Billy Rolle should be the next head football coach at FAMU.
