     Co-owner of Smitty’s Wings Restaurant, Chris Smith, gave the students and staff a detailed presentation of the Sistrunk Historical Wall, which tells the stories of Black excellence within our local community. It was amazing seeing the eyes of the children light up when they witnessed this mural. All eyes and ears were faced toward Mr. Smith as he taught Black history from the real-life stories on the wall.

     At just 25 years old, Deas, a Haitian UF Levin College of Law student, has shattered barriers and made waves in her career path, marking a significant milestone for representation and diversity within the university’s legal system.

     Florida Virtual School last week filed a notice of appeal after U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell issued a ruling in January that described the claim for trademark infringement as “feeble” and suggested Florida Virtual School was trying to “bully” competitors.

   Chronicling Black men’s political disgust as well as their willingness to sacrifice their lives  and votes clearly demonstrates their  courage and resolve.  Consequently,  Black men are prepared to use their ballots as leverage.  This action is to force President Biden to heed their demands.  And to prick his conscience such that he  also fights  for  a more perfect Union inclusive  for all  people.
