  Amazingly, tens of millions of white supremacists practice a form of religion and attend church. Yet  they refuse to recognize that the Founding Fathers were deeply committed to a government that did not overtly or covertly become entangled with any religion. Nevertheless, throughout history religious zealots and white supremacists have weaponized their religion, fueled by racism, and cloaked in ignorance to intentionally deprive others of their  inalienable rights.

     A supermajority is when there is two-thirds or three fifths of a legislature, and is greater than a simple majority. When this happens, the party that is in control is able to get their agenda passed, and the other party has nothing they can do about it. Politics is about numbers and the Republicans and the governor are in control, because they have the numbers.

     Miyares clarified in the three-page opinion that a section of the Virginia code that covers the topic “prohibits an insurance carrier that provides coverage for cancer therapy from denying a patient coverage for proton radiation therapy when the coverage determination is based on the carrier’s application of a higher standard of clinical evidence to such treatment than it uses for treatments it otherwise approves.”  

     Norbert has predicted the winners of all elections the day after the votes were counted. He says he has friends all over the political spectrum. He can call the mayor, the governor, and your local city councilman because he was instrumental in “getting them elected and they owe me.”

  The United Negro College Fund has announced a donation of $100 million from the Lily Endowment. The gift is the single largest unrestricted grant to the organization since its founding 80 years ago. The gift will go toward 37 Historically Black colleges and universities in an effort to boost HBCUs long term financial stability.

     DeSantis bet heavily on Iowa as he tried to become the alternative candidate to Trump. But Trump won about 51 percent of the vote — with a chance to win all 99 Iowa counties — while DeSantis was at about 21 percent, according to totals posted on the Iowa Republican Party website.

     Along with the church, the lawsuit — filed Dec. 29 — specifically names the search committee chair, Valerie S. Grant, accusing her of behaving inappropriately by asking Marshall Turman questions and pressing issues not broached with her male counterparts.
