    Bethune-Cookman’s Asianae Nicholson was named to the BOXTOROW Women’s Basketball Division I All-American Team on March 21.

    The 5-foot, 10-inch junior forward out of Euclid, Ohio received Second Team honors.

    Nicolson finished the season ranked second in the nation in double doubles with 22, recording one in each of her last 12 games.

    She led the SWAC in both total rebounds (367) and rebounds per game (11.8). Also, she finished in the top 20 in the conference in blocked shots (18) and steals (51).

    Nicholson also led the Wildcats in scoring with 394 total points (12.7) and points per game. She shot 44.5 percent from the field and recorded 39 assists.
