Black Preachers in Maryland holding vigils against gay marriage
Your Black World
A group of Black churches are going to hold a vigil against same-sex marriage in Maryland, according to the Christian Post. The state is going to vote on the issue in November, and the churches are already making their position loud and clear.
The vigil is being organized by the National Black Church initiative in Baltimore this Wednesday. The Rev. Anthony Evans says that this is going to be the first of many such gatherings to take place over the next several weeks.
