In a quiet service in Lithonia, Georgia, family and friends gathered on Saturday to say their final good-byes to ‘Blaque’ singer and actress, Natina Reed.
At this time, no charges are pending.
West Coast rapper, Kurupt, Reed’s former fiance and father of her 10-year-old son, Tren, reportedly paid for the funeral service and the repast. He thanked everyone for their condolences in a heartfelt statement to MTV:
“Myself and Tren, Natina’s son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time,” said Kurupt. “This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did.”
He also took it to the Tweets to thank his fans:

Tren has been living with his father for the last four years and will continue to do so.
Reed was staying in an extended stay hotel at the time of her death, according to the Daily Mail, and was wearing “dark clothing in an unlit area” when she struck by the vehicle. At this time it is unclear if she was crossing the road or standing in the middle of it and police are still investigating.
According to ‘Blaque’ bandmates, Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-Devoe, the group had recently gotten back together and were working on a new album and reality show. But, unfortunately, it was not to be. Reed, 32 at the time of her death, was killed one day before her birthday.
