Community Open House To Be Held on October 16, 2024

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Broward Community & Family Health Centers (BCOM) is thrilled to announce the arrival of its first Dental Mobile Unit, coming soon to the streets of Broward County. The state-of-the-art mobile unit is designed to bring top-notch dental care directly to local neighborhoods ensuring that everyone has access to essential oral health services. The Dental Mobile Unit will be equipped with the latest technology, including a digital x-ray, computers, a dental chair, is and staffed by the skilled team of dental professionals, dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive oral care. This initiative underscores BCOM’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and improving the well-being of the Broward County community.
The mission of BCOM’s Dental Mobile Unit is to provide primary and preventive dental services to the children and families of Broward County. It aims to serve neighbors by bringing essential dental services directly to them, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to receive quality oral healthcare regardless of their financial situation or ability to travel to a dental clinic.

To celebrate this milestone, Broward Community & Family Health Centers will host a community open house on October 16, 2024, at BCOM West Park. The event will be led by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, who has been a staunch advocate to help bring the Dental Mobile Unit to Broward County and a major supporter of the BCOM mission. The press conference will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Dental Mobile Unit and its expected impact on the community.
