In Lansing, Michigan, a troubling incident unfolded as police handcuffed a 12-year-old boy while he was performing a mudane task of taking out the trash. The police claimed that the boy matched the description of a suspected car thief in the vicinity, leading to the distressing encounter.

Ms. Maloney has been a faithful member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church since 1960 and a member of AKA for over 50 years.
