Groups have begun organizing to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean. BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Recently, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24), Ranking Member of the U.S. Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee, proudly announced that Broward County Transit has been awarded a $25 million FY24 Low and No Emission grant under President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to advance its sustainability efforts. The funding will support the procurement of battery electric buses equipped with on-route chargers, replacing the older diesel vehicles.
