     If Donald Trump is indicted by a Manhattan grand jury this morning (or tomorrow, or the next day), as both he and media reports predict, you can rest assured that another thing won’t be happening: his perp walk.

     While President Biden certainly could have stopped Willow, so can the financial institutions helping create it. Willow is just the most recent example of banks’ complicity in preserving fossil fuel extraction through a continuing flow of money to Big Oil and Gas – all despite pledging a year ago to pursue the net zero carbon emissions we need to save the planet.

  The Afghanistan’s War officially ended on August 30, 2021, as President Biden promised. However, the  war was a failure and the withdrawal  marred. The killing of thirteen soldiers and injuring of  dozens of others during the withdrawals by a suicide bomber was without question a horrific incident. Such an attack could have only possibly been prevented by undressing or searching every Afghan in an around the exit point, which would’ve caused a Civil War.

     This measly mouth boot licking former Vice President did the right thing on January 6th and this past weekend at a closed meeting put the January 6th incident squarely at the feet of Donald Trump.

     Former State Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has agreed to take over as the new chair of Florida Democratic Party. Initially Nikki Fried did not want the job, because it had very few thank you’d.  The Florida Democratic Party had a history of financial shortfalls, rampant infighting, and a bad job on voter registration.

      About four years ago, The Gantt Report told you The Cat would throw the blow that would knock “Teflon” Donald Trump off of his right-wing pedestal. The cat returned.

     “I think we all understand we have to be solutions driven. And the solutions are at hand,” Harris said at a climate summit earlier this month. “We need to make up for some lost time, no doubt. This is going to have an exponential impact on where we need to go.”

     The research is copious and hard to refute that minority media ownership is dismally low and discrimination is prevalent and persistent in the media industry. Women and people of color who decide to make media their careers have fewer opportunities than their male or white peers. This lack of diversity and opportunity needs to change. A proposed transaction awaiting the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) approval for close to a year will significantly advance diversity and minority capacity in the media industry.

         Lucius Gantt doesn’t have a reputation as a liar but apparently, Fox News built a large viewership and a huge advertising base by pushing the limit on misdirection and misinformation.

     Oral arguments in the case happened in late February. Litigants, backed by far-right politicians, are trying to derail the Biden plan that would significantly reduce or even eliminate debt for millions of lower-income people across the country. Nearly half of Latino borrowers and a quarter of Black borrowers would have their entire student debt relieved.
