Since its inception, America’s Democracy has been guilty of genocide, slavery, voter suppression, segregation, discrimination, lynching, and unfair justice. America’s guilt continues to this very day. Democracy created by our Founding Fathers as a process of governing has continued to ensure that white people would fully enjoy all rights inscribed within the U.S. Constitution.

In 2022, Democracy in America is in crisis, and who is really a patriot? On January 6, 2021, there was an as-sault on the U. S. Capitol, and there is no agreement on what to call what happened. The Republicans are calling the event, “a riot that got out of control.” The Democrats are calling the event, “an attempted coup or insurrection,” and this must never happen again.
It’s been a year since a mob of Trumpists violently at-tacked the U.S. Capitol. They wanted to stop Congress from affirming President Joe Biden’s victory. Some of them were out for blood. All of them were motivated by the former president’s Big Lie that he won the election but that his victory was stolen from him and his supporters.
“So, let’s speak plainly about what happened in 2020. Even before the first ballot was cast, the former president was preemptively sowing doubt about the election results. He built his lie over months. It wasn’t based on any facts. He was just looking for an excuse, a pretext to cover for the truth. He’s not just a former president. He’s a defeated former president. Defeated by a margin of over seven million of your votes. In a full and free and fair election.”
Over the past year, we have witnessed loyalists of the 45th President work to unravel the threads that hold the fabric of our representative democracy together. His followers, fueled by a constant diet of disinformation, have harassed and intimidated election officials across the country, causing many to resign their positions out of fear for themselves and their families.
President Biden has lost its credibility and trust by threatening war, appeasing Zionist Israel and Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS).
I was sad to learn the Biden administration plans to spend $1 billion to increase the nation’s slaughter capacity. Instead, the White House should invest these funds into open-access cultivated-meat research. For those who don’t know, cultivated meat is grown from animal cells, without slaughter. It’s better for the environment, public health and animal welfare.

Terry Ann Williams Edden has been very very good in doing so as she let the voters know why she qualifies as the best person for the State Senate for district 33. In matters of morality, a trustworthy person doesn’t feel the need to dim the light of others to make their light shine. The way this campaign is going now, one can only imagine what it would be like if she won. We all need to look in the mirror and stop walking around in the devil’s shoes.
