Miami, FL — At a recent appearance in Historic Overtown, the Nigerian-American recording artist, Jidenna, shared a powerful message with the males in attendance.

“Black men we must protect our women at all costs,” he charged as he began to shed light on the egregious plight of the black woman.

“It’s the only way to be a man.”

While laying on a thick Nigerian accent, the gingered-hair gentleman shared sound advice from his father between performing hits like “Bambi” and the popular tune “Classic Man”.

Jidenna, along with Comedian Lil Duval, headlined Soul Basel’s Art of Conversation event during Miami’s Art Week at the Historic Lyric Theater Cultural Arts Complex.
