    Don’t Build a Jail for Me: Prevention, Not Detention and Policing in the Black Community was the theme for The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s

           Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, led the panelist in a discussion that  focused on prevention strategies within the Black community, emphasizing the need to shift away from detention and policing. This crucial conversation highlighted the importance of proactive measures to address social issues.

    Congresswoman Wilson reaffirmed her commitment to dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline, a critical issue affecting many young people. By prioritizing prevention and community support, she aims to create safer, more equitable environments for all.
