Congresswoman Frederica Wilson receives Broward Black Elected Officials Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Community Service Award, at their annual gala held, Friday night, March 1, 2013. The Congresswoman received a standing ovation from a sold-out ballroom of other awardees, elected officials and attendees at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. This was the first time the event has been sold out and this is first time the Broward Black Elected Officials have given a Lifetime Achievement Award.
