Dillard High School Class of 1971 sponsors successful holiday toy drive

For the past six years, the Alumni from Dillard High School Class of 1971 Association has donated and delivered toys to children in Pre-K to Second Grade at Dillard Elementary School.
The Christmas 2016 Drive was even more successful. Classmates donated cash to purchase 45 tablets plus gave another 60 toys. In the spirit of the season, the class made it possible for 105 children to have a joyous holiday.
Dillard High School Class of 1971 has a mission to give back to the community. The Association is com-posed of minority alumni from Broward County Schools Class of 1971 that attended Dillard High School, Fort Lauderdale High School, Strahanan High School plus other minority alumni from sur-rounding schools. Numerous fundraising efforts help to generate funds for scholarships to seniors at Dillard High School, for school supplies and other needs identified in our community. The Class also sponsors an Annual Drive for Thanksgiving Baskets and participates in community activities i.e., Sistrunk Festival, Dillard Homecoming, etc.
