SISTRUNK,  FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – In a groundbreaking move, Ronnie Hall, a proud Navy veteran and visionary entrepreneur,  opened the first Black-owned salad restaurant in the vibrant heart of Sistrunk.

This momentous venture not only adds to the rich tapestry of culinary experiences in Sistrunk but also represents a significant milestone for the local community. Ronnie’s dedication to creating an inclusive and welcoming space has been the driving force behind this venture, ensuring a space that fosters community, honors heritage, and delivers exceptional salads.

The restaurant, The Salad Boss, promises a menu that celebrates diversity and creativity, offering a carefully curated selection of salads that reflect the owner’s personal journey, culinary expertise, and deep-rooted commitment to quality ingredients. Patrons can enjoy an array of salads ranging from traditional favorites to inventive, culturally-inspired creations, all served with the highest standard of care and presentation.

“I am thrilled to bring this unique concept to the heart of Sistrunk,” says Hall. “This restaurant is not only a testament to my passion for food but also a tribute to my service in the Navy and the resilient spirit of the Black community. I aim to create a place where everyone feels at home, and where the love for food and culture can be savored in every bite.”

Ronnie envisions the restaurant not just as a dining destination, but as a hub for community gatherings, cultural events, and a platform for local artists and musicians to showcase their talent.

The opening of this black-owned health restaurant is a testament to the unwavering commitment to excellence, community empowerment, and a celebration of heritage. It is poised to leave an indelible mark on the Sistrunk dining scene and stands as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs.
