    (Source Florida Courier):

Keisha Nash Whitaker, the ex-wife of Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, has died. The model, actress and former host of TLC’s “What Are You Wearing?” was 51-years old.

The former couple’s 25-yearold daughter, True, shared the tragic news on social media Thursday, but did not provide a cause of death.

“Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond. The most beautiful woman in the world,” she wrote in her Instagram Story. “Thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.”

True also shared several archival photos of her mom set to the tunes of Aaliyah’s 1996 cover of “At Your Best (You Are Love)” and Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You.”

Neither Whitaker, 62, nor his reps have commented about the passing of his ex.

The couple first met on the set of the 1994 action-thriller “Blown Away,” in which they played onscreen lovers. In 1996, they wed in a destination wedding in Jamaica, and went on to have two daughters together. They also each have a child from a previous relationship.

In 2018, after 22 years of marriage, Whitaker filed from divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

A few years prior, Nash Whitaker became the subject of social media scrutiny due to her “shocking weight loss.” Sources told The Daily Mail that the Boston-area native had battled anorexia for years.
