Wardell Bennett Jr., the son of the late Wardell Bennett Sr. And the late Josie Bennett was born January 20, 1955 in Waynesboro, GA.

Walt was a sport enthusiast. Basketball was his favorite sport but he loved the Miami Dolphins.

He enjoyed fellowshipping  with his family and sitting around eating great meals. After a great meal he would sit around  joking, laughing and remembering the days gone by (the good ole days).

During the last few years, Walt battled some health issues. However, through it all, he fought a good fight. On February 18, 2024, God saw a need to give him rest and Walt answered the call.
