    Marquis-and-momMarquis Fairchild is leaving his Pompano Beach roots and headed to the University of Hawaii on a football scholarship. He will miss his grandmother, Ida Osborne, the members of his church, Antioch Baptist Church of Pompano Beach, his proud parents Carlton and Kathy Jackson, both Blanche Ely High alums, his entire family and friends. At 6’4″, 225 pounds, Marquis started at OL and DE for Chaminade Madonna High School. He made his official announcement on National Signing Day.
