    (Source Athlon Sports):

Travis Hunter was on the receiving end of a dirty cheap shot by a Colorado State defender during Colorado’s third game of the season on Saturday night.

Unfortunately, the hit removed him from the game and even sent him to the hospital. To make matters worse, Deion Sanders said after Colorado’s thrilling double-overtime win that Hunter will likely miss the next few weeks.

It’s still unclear what injury Hunter is dealing with exactly. But one can assume it’s serious if he was taken to the hospital, even if it’s just out of precaution.

Football fans are sending in their prayers hoping Hunter gets better soon.

“I pray Travis Hunter is okay that hit was illegal and 11 should have been ejected immediately. Glad Colorado was able to get the W,” one fan wrote.

“I pray Travis Hunter have a speedy recovery, that was some BS that went on last night,” a fan commented.

“I pray Travis Hunter ain’t suffer a serious injury that young man is needed especially over the next 2 games,” one fan said.

“My prayers for Travis Hunter. I pray that you make a speedy recovery,” a social media user wrote.

“I pray Travis Hunter is okay. He should have never taken that illegal hit earlier in the game,” a fan commented.

Colorado plays No. 10 Oregon this Saturday and No. 5 USC a week later. There’s a good chance Hunter misses both games.

We wish the Colorado superstar well in his recovery.
