President Diana Wellshave launched âMy Voice, Our City: What Will You Do?,â an online competition encouraging Black and Latino young men to offer ideas that could help reduce racial and ethnic disparities in New York City.
Itâs ironic that they mayor, who is heavily criticized for his stop and frisk policy that sends thousands of Black men to jail, would be releasing this type of program. Critics say that if Mayor Bloomberg really wants to help Black and brown men, he would stop trying to get them all locked up over a bag of weed.
