As a part of a group of community and political leaders interested in learning more about Israel, its Biblical history, some geopolitics of the Middle East, and the U.S.-Israel relationship. We joined the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF) Israel Seminar for African American Leaders on these wonderful and life changing experiences. In these coming weeks we will share photos and videos to give a glimpse of our perspectives from a dive into the beginning of this most impressive, educational, and spiritual journey. I can never overstate how much planning in the safety and security of our group (Resolve 414, more on this to come) that was provided by all the agencies involved in this process. To all our families, friends, loved ones, and to all of those who were concerned about our safety, your prayers were heard and answered, we all returned home safe and in good spirits. Most of all, we are appreciative for all the calls, emails, and well wishes received upon our return. Thank you so very much.

    Lamentations 3:21-23(GWT)

    The Prophet—a Man of Hope

21 “The reason I can [still] find hope is that I keep this one thing in mind:

    22 the Lord’s mercy.
We were not completely wiped out.
His compassion is never limited.

23 It is new every morning.
His faithfulness is great.
