Two exciting media TV personalities who were once on opposite networks will now be joining forces to be must see TV. The two personalities in question are Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe. Shannon, a former NFL tight end who is a hall of fame 3x winning Super Bowl Champion, was previously on Fox Sports’ Undisputed debating with Skip Bayless. His final show was in June and now he is taking his talents to ESPN to debate with Stephen A. Smith during the NFL season. After working on Undisputed for about 7 years, Shannon has shown that he is knowledgeable about not only football but basketball and baseball as well. His role is focused on  NFL season for now, but hopefully his role gets extended to other sports as well.

Stephen A. Smith has been on ESPN since about 2003 contributing to different shows on the many different ESPN spots. He also worked with Skip Bayless on First Take before Skip ultimately left for Fox Sports.

With these two media giants joining forces,  this will be must see TV because both of these guys have a personality that will draw viewers in, with humor and insightful views. Part of Stephen A.’s schtick is to tease the Dallas Cowboys players and fans after their playoff shortcomings. Shannon also teases the Cowboys and this particular segment with these two will draw eyes of both sides of the coin, Cowboys fans and non-fans.

In my personal opinion, these two teaming up will bring more eyes to First Take. I feel Shannon has fans that will follow him over to his new network. I will be tuned in during the season to watch these two. This fall the audience is in for a great debate show so sit back and relax and get your popcorn. ready.
