Barry Higdon – CB, 6’2, 190lbs. – Chaminade -Madonna College Prep – Hollywood, FL

Transferring from Northeast he is ready to take his game and his brain to the next level by fully challenging himself mentally and physically. His explosive speed and dynamic size for his position is sure to make him a prospect this coming season for the Chaminade defense, as well as college scouts. Having ran a 4.41 in the 40/yd dash in off season combines, receivers will find it quite hard  to elude him and his physical presence. His knowledge for the game allows him to be versatile and productive anywhere on the field. His conditioning is as intense as his study habits. He constantly pushes himself to excel in all that he does whether on the field, in school and even in church. Higdon believes that knowledge is the key. He is a member of First Baptist Piney Grove and he also attends Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Barry Higdon would like to give thanks and praise to Coaches Al Brown and Tony Tate.

John Franklin-QB, 6’2, 185lbs. – South Plantation- Fort Lauderdale, Fla

If you follow high school football in South Florida, this is a player you have either watched on video or checked out live at a game or a 7-on-7 event. This is indeed a quality football talent who gets it done with his knowledge of the game. While he does have a good throwing arm and is very quick, the thing that has separated him from many other athletes is his knack for making plays and being able to read defenses. This is one of those football prospects who will be playing this sport for a long time. Whether it’s at the quarterback position or from a receiver spot, that will be up to the college he attends.

   Chris Herise-LB, 6’4, 225lbs. Central – Miami, Fla

One of the most physical players in South Florida this season as he will spend his final season with the Rockets after a productive varsity year at Palmetto. This is a very important season for this quality football talent as he will have a major opportunity to get better and showcase his many skills. His speed, strength and ability to read plays will be essential with this athletic team. From the time he stepped on the field last year – to his off season work – this is indeed a talent that has continued to watch his stock rise.

Rashawn Pascal – WR, 5’11, 170lbs. – Fort Lauderdale, Fla

After a very productive offseason in which he showcased his athletic ability at camps, combines and in 7-on-7 events, this is a prospect who is ready for a breakout season. With a strong conditioning program, this has been one of the players who has emerged as a football talent to watch. His ability to make catches in traffic along with outstanding speed and productivity from the position has colleges continuing to watch. This is one of those players you remember because he has a way of turning it on when it counts the most. That’s what college coaches like to see.

    Jamal Wallace-RB, 5’10, 170lbs. – Northeast- Oakland Park, Fla

On a team loaded with talent – especially on the offensive side of the ball – here is a prospect who has proven to be just the balance the Hurricanes were looking for to keep pace with the explosive passing attack. Having watched his progress since his sophomore year, this is a fast, instinctive runner who com-bines experience with the ability to wear defenses down with his knack of running the ball hard. Everyone who has watched him agrees this could be one of those players who emerges in a major way this season.
