          POMPANO BEACH, FL — Sovereign Health of Pompano Beach hosted an open house and networking event on Jan. 14, 2016. The event, which took place from 4 to 6 p.m., drew a large crowd of Pompano Beach community leaders, including Pompano Beach Mayor Lamar Fisher and Barry Moss, Pompano Beach’s City Commissioner – District 5. The event was also attended by many leaders in the behavioral health and substance addiction community.

    On hand to give presentations were Rafael Botta, Psy. D., the program director for Sovereign Health of Pompano Beach and Sovereign’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Ash Bhatt, M.D. Although Dr. Bhatt is the CMO for the entire Sovereign Health Group organization, he maintains an office at the Pompano Beach location.

    “We want to provide the most effective mental health and substance abuse treatment for adults in South Florida,” says Brad Paley, LCSW, clinical director for Sovereign Health of Pompano Beach. “We offer a wide array of individualized, evidence-based clinical services from experienced and caring professionals in the field. Our facility consists of a full spectrum of services, providing clients and families with exceptional care and treatment to help them regain control over their lives.”

    Sovereign Health of Pompano Beach offers a comprehensive treatment program for mental health and substance abuse. The dual diagnosis emphasis identifies the co-occur-ring condition that contributes to the disorder. The Pompano Beach facility provides patients with group therapy, meditation training and experiential treatment, such as equine, art and yoga therapies.
