Supervisor at Kansas City hotel hangs slave doll to mock Sandra Bland’s death

A white supervisor at a Kansas City, Mo. hotel tastelessly mocked Sandra Bland’s death by hanging a “slave doll” from a doorway at the hotel. According to authorities, Bland died in a Texas jail cell after hanging herself with a trash bag following her arrest for a minor traffic violation in which a white officer threatened to tase her and allegedly slammed her head into the ground over her not putting her cigarette out. Local attorney Stacy Shaw published a picture of this to her Twitter account.
