Black History Month ended on February 28, but that doesn’t mean Black history education cannot continue. Every month – especially April – is Black History Month at the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, where upcoming exhibitions, programs and tours make the artistry and history of African Americans an interactive experience.

SKYWARN Storm Spotters training class, normally conducted at the Broward Emergency Operations Center, will be held virtually again this year. The class is intended for those with an interest in public safety and communications, and who want to help during extreme weather events.

     A new villain threatens the world’s order. However, this time the evil villain is Vladimir Putin who’s a reincarnation of Hitler. Putin, unlike Hitler who chose Jews, beggars, LGBTs, and homeless people to murder and incinerate, has chosen to identify Ukrainians to displace, kill and  annex their country.

     *Scientists have announced the discovery of a subvariant of Omicron. This subvariant (BA.2) has been designated “Stealth.” This subvariant is reportedly 1.5 times more transmissible than the Omicron variant. There is no evidence currently that Stealth causes more severe disease or can evade the vaccines.

     *The recent surge in new coronavirus cases is beginning to decline. New infections are declining quickly in the Northeast and upper Midwest.  Cases remain high though, with an average of 700,000 new infections per day.
